Tommy Rowe - Owner of The Rowe Company

Tommy was born in Charleston, SC and grew up in Walterboro. He graduated from Walterboro High School in 1961 and The University of South Carolina in 1967 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After that he spent six years in the U.S. Navy as a jet pilot/flight instructor. The next 8-10 years were spent working at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command in Charleston, S.C., owning and operating Brown Hardware and Furniture Company in Walterboro, and working for Lott Parish and Associates, an engineering and planning firm in Columbia, S.C. Originally licensed as a real estate agent in 1975, in 1982 he started The Rowe Company, a full service real estate company in Walterboro, and moved to his present address at 228 Hampton Street in 1998, where he continues today.
