Janice Barrett, Office Manager

Janice comes to The Rowe Company bringing with her vast experience in customer service. In her past careers she has held positions in real estate office in Greenville and in Aiken, SC. She has also worked at Colleton Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Colleton Medical Center as a Surgical Technician here in Walterboro. Born and raised in the Walterboro area, she graduated from John C. Calhoun Academy now known as Colleton Preparatory Academy. Janice graduated from York Technical College with an Associates Degree in Surgical Technology. After graduating from York instead of pursuing her medical career, Janice explored different fields and soon found that she enjoyed the customer service area of real estate. This led to years of experience and eventually to her meeting her husband, Jim. Janice met her husband, Jim, a realtor at that time, in a real estate office in Aiken, SC. After marrying they moved back to the low country, Ruffin, in 1996. Jim and Janice have two wonderful red headed boys, Joseph and Jacob. In Janice’s spare time she enjoys traveling with her family, visiting with friends, and raising her chinchillas along with her many other pets.
